Period Paper is pleased to offer an collection from 1910 of ethnological and zoological wood engravings (and two maps) of the travels of the American hunter, naturalist and zoologist, William Temple Hornaday (1854-1937). From 1877-1878 Hornaday traveled through India, Ceylon (present day Sri Lanka), the Malay Peninsula, and Borneo collecting wildlife specimens and making sketches of the indigenous peoples of Southeast Asia.
