This is an original 1911 color photolithograph that depicts a scene from Mardi Gras. A drunk gentlemen is attended to by another reveler who asks him what's wrong. He, in turn, replies that he's thinking of his poor wife, who must surely be spending the evening alone since he noticed that all of her lovers are at this party!
