This is an original 1911 halftone print of views in the Marble Halls Cave of Oregon. The cave is now known as the Oregon Caves and is a national monument in the Siskiyou Mountains. After the discovery of the cave in 1874, it became a tourist site, and tourists were urged to take stalactites and stalagmites as souvenirs. President Taft turned the caves into a monument in 1909.
