This is an original 1912 black and white photogravure of the garden doorway from the house that Watts and his new wife, Mary Fraser Tytler, bought and named "Limnerslease," which combined the words "limner" (artist) with "leasen" (glean.) They also built the Watts Gallery nearby which was a museum dedicated to his work Ð the first (and now the only) purpose-built gallery in Britain devoted to a single artist Ð- which opened shortly before his death.
