This is an original 1912 halftone print of the largest cheese wheel in the world at the time-- made in Appleton, Wisconsin, and exhibited at the National Dairy Show in Chicago, Illinois. The caption writes, "[the cheese] weighed over 12,000 pounds. The cost of building this huge appetizer was nearly $6,000."
