This is an original 1912 halftone print of the Prinsenhof (Court of the Prince) in Delft, Holland, which was an urban palace erected during the Middle Ages as a monastery. Later, the structure housed William the Silent until he was murdered in 1584. The building still exists today and houses the municipal museum. The bullet holes from William the Silent's murder are still visible.
