Mason, Frank Henry

Frank Henry Mason (Oct. 1, 1875 Ð Feb. 24, 1965) was an artist known for his maritime, shipping, coastal and harbor paintings. He also excelled in creating Art Deco travel and railway posters later in his career and his style was described as Òlight impressionism.Ó He was born in England as the son of a railway clerk. He trained as a marine engineer but discovered his love for art at the Scarborough School of Art before traveling abroad and designing posters.
