This is an original 1913 4-page halftone print set in the form of a booklet (two pages as front and back and two pages linked in the interior) of the History of art in Egypt by Gaston Maspero and the Director of the Egypt Museum in Cairo Dr. Adolf Rusch. Maspero was a French Egyptologist who was born in Paris. By the age of 16 he was already interested in hieroglyphic writing. He met and worked with Egyptologist Auguste Mariette.
This 98+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine+. Moderate aging throughout. Light creasing. No natural defects. Some moderate surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is print on the reverse of all of the pages in this booklet.
