This is an original 1914 black and white halftone print of boats docked on the banks of the river Ganges in Benares (Varanasi) in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the oldest continuously-inhabited city in the world, and the oldest in India; additionally, it's considered to be the holiest city of the seven Sapta Puri (sacred cities in Hinduism and Jainism).
