This is an original 1914 halftone print of Der Strauchdieb which translates to the Highwayman by Ignatius Taschner. Taschner was a German sculptor, illustrator and designer who studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Munich. After a few hard years he was appointed by Hans Poelzig in 1903 to teach at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Breslau.
