This is an original 1915 halftone print featuring an image of an office building, located at 8 West, 40th Street in New York. This building was designed by architectural firm of Goldwin Starrett and Van Vleck. These architects also designed such notable buildings as The American Stock Exchange in 1921, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, Abraham and Straus, Lord and Taylor, the Everett Building in 1908, the Downtown Athletic Club in 1930, Gimbels Department Store in Pittsburgh, which was later renamed the Heinz 57 Center, as well as many others. Today, the New York Customer Briefing Facility is located in the present building.
