This is an original 1917 World War I era black and white print ad for The Greys Cigarettes manufactured by Major Drapkin & Co., London. The ad includes an illustration of the female soldier, Mrs. Christian Davis 1667-1739 (also known as Kit Cavanagh and Mother Ross), who fought in disguise in three battles with the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys).
