This is an original 1917 color print of a knotted tapestry carpet which was copied from one that exits in the Saloon of the Buen Retiro Porcelaines in the Royal Palace of Madrid, Spain. It was probably created in the 20th century. The carpet in this print was produced at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid, Spain. This factory has been producing tapestries since 1720 when it was founded by King Philip V.
