This is an original 1918 black and white halftone print of Russian revolutionary Nicholai Alexandrovich Morozov, who was a member of Tchaikovsky's Circle before several stints in prison. However, confinement enabled him to devote more attention to the scientific, and he authored many books with subject matter pertaining to chemistry, physics, and mathematics around that time.
