Widgery, Frederick John

Frederick John Widgery (May 1861- Jan. 1942) was an English artist who painted landscape and coastal scenery in Devon and Cornwall. He was a self taught artist who studied at the Exeter School of Art, National Art School, and at Hubert von HerkomerÕs School at Bushey in Hertfordshire before becoming Mayor of Exeter.
