Bernard Naudin

French artist Bernard Naudin (1876-1946) began as a painter, but soon realized his preference for drawing and printmaking while doing work for French magazines Le Cri de Paris and L'Assiette au Beurre. Over the course of his career he did illustrations for Edgar Allen Poe, as well as many French authors, including Diderot and Georges Duhamel, in addition to some interesting war pieces from his time as an infantry sergeant.
