This is an original 1919 black and white halftone print of cattle grazing in the Cauca Valley near the border of Popayan, Colombia which lies between the Cauca River and the Central Cordilleras of the Andes Mountain range. In the background the Cauca River can faintly be seen on the borders of what used to be the plantation, La Manuelita which in 1919 had been abandoned for years.
