This is an original 1920 black and white halftone print of a man and a woman from the Gond or Gondi people which are from central India. They are the largest tribe in Central India with over four million people. They are spread over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra (Vidarbha), Chhattisgarh, northern Andhra Pradesh, and western Orissa.

This 91+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. Minor print defect - left side. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there are a few small dark marks in the margins of this piece.
