This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of captured prisoners of war being searched for papers and weapons revealing any military secrets or operations before the men are sent to the prison pens at Menil-la-Tour. The stockades in the image were built only days prior to the battle in anticipation of great enemy capture.

This 91+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light foxing and aging. Small crease - top left corner. No natural defects. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note that there is printing on the reverse.
