This is an original 1920 World War I sepia Rotogravure of a bird's eye view of the Palace of Versailles, including the crowds streaming through to witness the signing of the Treaty of Peace. The second image shows the Hall of Mirrors in the Chateau Louis XIV (Palace of Versailles), where the German peace treaty was signed, as well as where William I was crowned German Emperor. The final image shows a corner of the Palace of Versailles, showing the exterior of the Hall of Mirrors.
