This is an original 1920 World War I sepia rotogravure of a rolling kitchen serving breakfast to American troops during the St. Mihiel battle. The second image shows members of the 3rd Battalion, 39th Infantry, 4th Division loading for the front lines into French trucks. The final image shows French refugees after returning to their native land once the Germans had retreated.
