This is an original 1921 halftone print of Sacramento Hill near Bisbee, Arizona. The hill was home to an estimated 25 million tons of copper ore. The article writes, "In the four years since work was started, about five million cubic yards of material have been taken from the hill, and it is estimated that within the next twelve years the huge mass will have been entirely obliterated and passed through the smelter."
