This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a lake in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Also shown is the Karlsplatz and the Karlskirche in Vienna (Wien), Austria (Österreich). The Karlskirche, or St. Charles' Church, is a prime example of a baroque structure, and was built beginning in 1716 after a large Bubonic plague outbreak.
