This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of a celebration of the 300th anniversary of the pilgrims landing at Plymouth, Massachusetts. Shown in the top image is Mary Chilton, played by Marjory Watson, stepping from the ship. The bottom image shows a float depicting the voyage of Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese discoverer.
