This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of San Francisco paying homage to the "Unknown Soldier." The caption writes, "On the same day that the actual burial took place in Washington huge throngs gathered at the Civic Centre, San Francisco, in front of which was draped a high American flag. members of the American Overseas League later on took the floral tributes to the military cemetary at the Presidio, where a ceremony was held in honor of the soldier dead buried there."
