This is an original 1922 sepia rotogravure of the 27th Division passing through the Victory Arch in Madison Square of New York City in celebration of the signing of the armistice. The caption writes, "The city turned out en masse to do them honor, and they received a tremendous ovation along the line of march. The avenue was packed from buildings to curb."
