This is an original 1923 black and white halftone print of the coffin of Yuya (Yuaa), the powerful Egyptian courtier; and the father of Tiye, the Great Royal wife of the 9th Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Yuya was married to Tjuyu, an Egyptian noblewoman. His grandson, Akhenaten (Akhanaton) was also known as Amenhotep IV, a Pharaoh of the 18th dynasty of Ancient Egypt in Northeastern Africa.
