Allen Saalburg
Allen Saalburg worked almost exclusively in advertising art and magazine illustration. Saalburg went to school at the Academie Julian, the Art Students League of New York, and the Pratt Institute of Art. His images are vibrant and colorful, and was known for his mural work and depictions of buildings and structures. He usually worked with gouache paint. His brother, Leslie, was also a famous painter.
