This is an original 1924 5 page article, "Country Life: Decorative Maps and Their Makers," by Perry Walton. The article features an image of the Dutch and English possessions in America-- originally engraved by Willem Blaeu in Amsterdam between 1633 and 1638. Also pictured is a map of the Americas. Interestingly, the map shows California as an island, and also visualizes the undiscovered areas of Canada. The original map was engraved in 1688 by F. de Wit in Amsterdam. Another map featured is a map of Holland, again originally engraved by Willem Blaeu in 1635. This is an absolutely stunning article-- please see additional images, but note that the 5 pages are printed on 3 pages-- front and back.
