This is an original 1924 color mini poster of the Lincoln Anglican Cathedral in England (which is also known as The Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln, or Saint Mary's Cathedral). This structure is the seat of the Bishop of Lincoln in the Church of England. The title of this poster is "The Cathedral, Lincoln", and it was designed and lithographed by Fred Taylor for the London and North Eastern Railway (image printed by John Waddington, Ltd.).

Period Paper is pleased to offer a rare and exceptional "mini poster" collection of some of the finest examples of poster advertising art of the early 20th century. The collection includes poster images in the form of original line cuts, original black and white halftone prints, and original mini posters. As "mini posters" they are but a fraction of the size of the original, but their powerful graphic designs combined with a succinct advertising message make them highly collectible pieces for the popular culture historian, the poster art collector, or those interested in the history of poster design. Period Paper holds one of world's largest collections of original historical poster images in various different media formats. Please note: these items are from 1924 and are not modern reproductions, copies, or digital prints.
