The Brig O' Balgownie, originally Bridge of Don, spans the River Don in Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Scotland. Original construction commenced in the 13th century by Richard Cementarius, but was not complete until 1320 at the time of the Scottish War of Independence. During high tide in the summer months, the student population of Aberdeen University is infamous for frequently jumping off the bridge into the River Don below."
