This is an original 1924 halftone print for Curtis Dwight Wilbur who was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of California and also was appointed Secretary of the Navy by President Coolidge. He graduated from Annapolis and was the first man of this training to be head of the Navy Department in recent years.
