This is an original 1924 halftone print of Jane Cowl, Louis Hector, and Rollo Peters in
Pelleas and Melisande. The play is about the forbidden and doomed love of Melisande and her brother-in-law, Peleas. Jame Cowl was a film and stage actress and played Juliet in
Romeo and Juliet in over 1,000 consecutive performances, making Broadway history in 1923.
