This is an ultra rare original 1925 color print ad for Portland Cement from the Atlas Company of New York. The ad features an image of the California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The memorial was a gift from Mrs. A. B. Spreckels, and was designed by George A. Applegarth. The ad writes, "Today, a perfect copy of the French Palace of the Legion of Honor stands in San Francisco-- a memorial to the California soldiers who went overseas during the world war."
