This is an original 1925 tipped-in lithograph portrait of Adolphe Menjou (1890-1963). Menjou was the epitome of the dapper, well-dressed leading man and character actor. Some of his films are "The Sheik," "The Three Musketeers" (both 1921), "A Woman of Paris,"(1930) and "The Front Page" (1931) for which he received an Oscar nomination.
Period Paper is offering several pieces of an ultra-rare collection of silent film memorabilia from 1925 and 1926 from Paramount which includes beautifully crafted lithographic prints, hand-mounted onto custom card stocks. This historical collection was created in 1925 to celebrate the upcoming 5th Anniversary of the Paramount Pep Club on March 5, 1926.
