This is an exceptionally rare original 1926 hand tipped-in, color lithograph of actor Leslie Fenton (1902-1978). Born Leslie Carter Fenton in Liverpool, England, he was a supporting actor and later a lead in B films. Some of his films include: The Ancient Mariner (1925), What Price Glory (1926), A Dangerous Woman (1929), The Public Enemy (1931), and The Strange Love of Molly Louvain (1932). After his acting career he turned to directing and Streets of Laredo (1949) was perhaps his best known film as director. This lithograph is mounted on a textured mat which measures approx. 9 x 15.5 inches.
