This is an original 1926 sepia photogravure of the Ponte Santa Trinita which crosses the Arno River in Florence, Italy. This bridge is named for a nearby ancient church and is the oldest elliptic bridge in the world. It was constructed from 1567 to 1569 by Florentine architect Bartolomeo Ammanati.
