This is an original 1926 halftone print of the Harvesters Vase, an excellent example of early Minoan pottery found in the palace at Hagia Triada in Crete. This illustration shows the artistry of Early Minoan cultures carved into the black steatite (soapstone) and can still be seen on display in the Heraklion Archaeological Museum in room VII.
