This is an original 1926 halftone print of the Hellstone, a dolmen outside of Portesham (Portisham) in Dorset, England. This Neolithic monument, which consists of nine upright stones and a capstone, is one of the lesser known dolmens in the world. Situated atop Portesham Hill, it is thought that prehistoric people worshipped at this stone to keep ill spirits at bay.
