This is an original 1926 halftone print of "Grave Circle A" of the Mycenaean ruins. This site of six Bronze Age shaft graves lies just beyond the Lion Gate and is the site where many gold death masks were discovered, one of which is said to be "The Death Mask of Agamemnon."
