1927 Print Map Victory Arctic Chart Drift Barrow Strait North Somerset John XGQ7
The ship and crew encountered extreme difficulties during the expedition, being trapped in the Arctic ice for four years. During these four years, the crew launched various exploration trips with the assistance of a local Inuit. During one exploration, Ross' nephew, James Clark Ross, found the magnetic north pole on the Boothia Peninsula.

Please note that there is print on the verso. Please also note that the brown area above the word "quarters" is not on the print itself.
