Albert Sterner

(1863-1946) Albert Edward Sterner was born in London and studied drawing as a teenager at the Birmingham Art Institute in England. His work was quite varied as he worked in many media, including pen and ink, watercolor, oils, lithography, pastel, and charcoal. His magazine illustrations appeared in Life, St. Nicholas, HarperÕs, MunseyÕs, and The Century.
