This is an original 1928 color print of the St. Helena willow trees lining the Potomac River, descendants of the trees that once grew by the grave of Napoleon Bonaparte on the Isle of St. Helena, where he died in exile after losing the War of the Seventh Coalition along the sunken road of Waterloo.
