This is an original 1928 halftone print of the Wawona Tree and Galen Clark the discoverer, in the Yosemite National Park in California, USA. It is known for it's granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams, Giant Sequoia groves and biological diversity. A band of Native Americans called the Ahwahneechee lived in Yosemite before anyone had settled in it. The California Gold Rush increased viewer ship of this beautiful area.
