This is an original 1928 black and white halftone print of the 39th Mexican President, Alvaro Obregón Salldo who served from 1920 to 1924 after becoming a general in the Mexican military. He was unfortunately assassinated after being reelected in 1928 by a radical Roman Catholic, who was opposed to the Mexican government's treatment of his religion.
