This is an original 1929 black and white print ad for the "Pontiac" and "The Relay" sport shoes that were made and sold by the B.F. Goodrich Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio (OH) during the Roaring Twenties era. The ad also features an endorsement from Chief Buffalo Child Long Lance (1890-1932). Although he claimed to be the son of a Blackfoot Indian chief, his tribal claims were found to be false, as he was actually of mixed Cherokee and Croatan ancestry.
