The home includes stair rails and spindles transplanted from an 18th century home in Quincy, Massachusetts, as well as antique hand-carved mantels and chair-rails in the dining room by Samuel McIntyre, a famous wood craftsman from Salem, Massachusetts. The Tallwood estate is for sale under the Cross and Brown Company, located at 270 Madison Avenue in New York City.
