This is an original 1929 black and white halftone print of the fallen military of the American Expeditionary Forces (A. E. F.) at Romagne-Sous-Montfaucon. Most of those buried here were killed during the Meuse-Argonne operation during World War I. The Romagne-Sous-Montfaucon is the largest American overseas cemeteries.
