Pierre Brissaud
Pierre Brissaud (1885-1964) was a native of Paris, France, where he received his formal art education at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, as well as at the Atelier Fernand Cormon in Montmartre. He was most recognized for his paintings, pochoir stencil prints, French art deco illustrations, and engravings. His works primarily centered on figures and genre subjects. BrissaudÕs artworks have been featured in Fortune magazine, House and Garden, the Gazette du Bon Ton and other publications including books. His art has been exhibited at the Salon des Artistes, the Chicago Art Institute and the Salon dÕAutomne.
