This is an original 1929 black and white halftone print of a net hanging off the side of the
USS Albatross which was a twin-screw steamer in the United States Navy. It is said to be the first research vessel ever built especially for marine research.

This 82+ year old Item is rated Near Mint / Very Fine. Light aging throughout. No creases. Minor print defect - center. No surface rub. No tears. No water damage. Please note: There is printing on the verso. Please also note that there are a few dark spots and smudges in the margins of this piece.
